About the school dialogue:
It is a dialogue school for community leaders in Egypt. The school will provide community leaders with theoretical and practical experience so that they can implement community dialogue initiatives and projects within their communities to promote dialogue, peace, and nonviolent communication among members of their communities.
The school will include a training component as well as a mentorship component.
Through the school of dialogue, We hope to empower community leaders with dialogic tools and skills so they can create peaceful communities in open dialogic spaces.
We seek to empower young community leaders, both men and women, with the tools needed to create a safe space for expression
Selection criteria:
- To be an emerging entity.
- based on dialogue principles.
- To be an entity that uses non formal education methods.
- The work team must consist of 2 or more.
- It must be an existing and implemented entity on the ground.
- The entity must have the ability to commit to attending the training camp with two representatives from the initiative
We provide initiatives with:
Capacity building training (providing a 4-day training camp on how to plan and manage initiatives).
Monthly training on fun education methodologies.
Providing follow-up and guidance sessions for each initiative.
